Tiger Tracker: Tiger Woods (-5) still in stall mode Sunday at Torrey

Tiger Woods is basically looking for a moral victory on Sunday.

He begins the final round of the Farmers Insurance Open in a tie for 48th and 13 shots off the lead of Justin Rose. So Woods won’t win, but he can use a strong round to garner a back-door nice finish.

We will follow his final round shot by shot. Follow along below…

Hole No. 17: Par 4, 440 yards

OFF THE TEE (1:38 p.m. ET): Tiger loses this 3-wood left and is a bit lucky it didn’t get into deep trouble. Still, this definitely finds the rough. So he’ll have to be safe on this approach.

APPROACH SHOT (1:43 p.m. ET): Tiger took a mighty lash at this one, and he gives himself a good leave as this one finishes just short of the green in the fairway. That’ll leave him a 25-yard pitch with plenty of green to work with.

AROUND THE GREEN (1:47 p.m. ET): That’s decent, but he could’ve done better. Tiger’s pitch runs 6-7 feet past the cup, leaving him a slippery one for par.

ON THE GREEN (1:49 p.m. ET): That one was always low and right. He almost kind of lagged that putt there. Anyway, that leads to a tap-in bogey. No bueno.

TIGER ON THE DAY: Even par thru 8 (5 under overall, T-44)

Hole No. 16: Par 3, 200 yards

OFF THE TEE (1:25 p.m. ET): Tiger’s tee shot just carries the bunkers and gets onto the green. This one will be about 40 feet for birdie. Should be a two-putt par upcoming.

ON THE GREEN (1:32 p.m. ET): Tiger lags to about 3 feet and rolls the remainder in for par. No harm done here.

TIGER ON THE DAY: 1 under thru 7 (6 under overall, T-39)

Hole No. 15: Par 4, 470 yards

OFF THE TEE (1:07 p.m. ET): Tiger finds the right rough on this drive after it faded too much.

APPROACH SHOT (1:13 p.m. ET): A solid shot here, as this one finishes about 20 feet under the cup.

ON THE GREEN (1:18 p.m. ET): BURIED it! Tiger with his first birdie of the day. That was a perfect right-to-left swinger that ran into the middle of the cup. That’s a nice pick-me-up.

TIGER ON THE DAY: 1 under thru 6 (6 under overall, T-39)

Hole No. 14: Par 4, 430 yards

OFF THE TEE (12:51 p.m. ET): He takes less than driver and this is a solid one down the right-center of the fairway. He should have roughly 150 yards in.

APPROACH SHOT (12:57 p.m. ET): Tiger leaves himself about 30 feet for birdie, as this one finishes well right of the cup.

ON THE GREEN (1 p.m. ET): Tiger two-putts for par. Another bland but simple par.

TIGER ON THE DAY: Even par thru 5 (5 under overall, T-44)

Hole No. 13: Par 5, 605 yards

OFF THE TEE (12:31 p.m. ET): This is driver down the right side of the fairway. A good strike. But this hole is so long that he will still have to lay up from there, most likely.

SECOND SHOT (12:37 p.m. ET): Tiger indeed lays up, actually into the right intermediate rough. Not ideal, but still a fine lie there.

THIRD SHOT (12:42 p.m. ET): A wedge to 7 feet here. That leaves a tasty birdie look.

ON THE GREEN (12:48 p.m. ET): And … no dice. Tiger has to settle for par.

TIGER ON THE DAY: Even par thru 4 (5 under overall, T-44)

Hole No. 12: Par 4, 494 yards

OFF THE TEE (12:17 p.m. ET): Tiger’s driver finds the fairway here. No problems, this is solid.

APPROACH SHOT (12:23 p.m. ET): This one is fired in about 15 feet under the cup. That should leave a decent birdie look.

ON THE GREEN (12:28 p.m. ET): Nope. He misses left and runs this by about 2 feet and taps in to settle for par.

TIGER ON THE DAY: Even par thru 3 (5 under overall, T-43)

Hole No. 11: Par 3, 228 yards

OFF THE TEE (12:06 p.m. ET): This is just fine, as Tiger gets this one to finish about 30 feet left of a back-right tucked pin.

ON THE GREEN (12:13 p.m. ET): Tiger runs a birdie putt about 4 feet by for the second straight hole. He does make the comebacker again, though.

TIGER ON THE DAY: Even par thru 2 (5 under overall, T-44)

Hole No. 10: Par 4, 425 yards

OFF THE TEE (11:46 a.m. ET): Tiger’s opening drive is a miss to the left with a fairway wood. He is in the rough.

APPROACH SHOT (11:52 a.m. ET): A solid effort from here, as he is able to get this ball to finish roughly 35 feet right of the cup. He should get away with that poor drive and two-putt for par.

ON THE GREEN (11:58 a.m. ET): Tiger runs his first putt 4 feet by but buries the comebacker. Solid opening par.

TIGER ON THE DAY: Even par thru 1 (5 under overall, T-45)
